Hello, So I went out to prepare for a lesson yesterday and my lesson horse (JayR) had a cut on his coronary band in the front of his left hind foot. It's probably about an inch long and not very deep at all, but it did take off a slice of skin there. He wasn't lame, so I just brought him up to put some antibacterial stuff on it (the stuff I have works great and helps heal it super fast). I went into the tack room and came out. I noticed the back of his foot. What is actually said was "Jeez, where'd those scratches come from? Guess because it's wet and muddy." Well, they weren't those kind of scratches. They were fairly deep cuts. It mostly sliced some tissue sideways and wasn't a deep cut into the heel. Even so they're pretty ick. I cleaned them and treated them and used an old fashioned trick with a baby diaper to wrap his foot (vetwrap wasn't going to stay on at all, but a baby diaper and duct tape works great). Since the cuts are on the front and back of his foot, it seems he might have gotten stuck in the fence or something. He's not lame though, so it's not too bad. Any other treatment suggestions? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References: www.horseforum.com/horse-health/caught-his-foot-fence-785883/Cryptocurrency Promotional Campaign
